Dr Punit Shah
I have been a Consultant General Paediatrician with an Allergy interest at County Durham and Darlington NHS Trust (CDDFT) since 2014. I am the lead for Paediatric Allergy Services at CDDFT and am also the Paediatric Clinical Lead at University Hospital North Durham. In 2018 I was elected as Chair of the Northern Paediatric Allergy Group (NPAG).
I studied Medicine at Nottingham University (BMedSci, BMBS), where I continued my Paediatric Training, before transferring to the North East in 2012. I have completed a MSc in Allergy from the University of Southampton.
My Allergy work is based at the University Hospital North Durham where I am involved in all aspects of allergy, in particular severe eczema and multi-system disease.
