Dr Sachin Mannikar
I am a Consultant Paediatrician, with a special interest in Allergy and Medical education, based in Gateshead, with an honorary status of working closely with the Allergy team at the Great North Children Hospital, in Newcastle.
I have been involved with Northern Paediatric Allergy Group (NPAG) since its creation in 2008 and it’s been a real joy to see this fledgeling group grow as a network, with membership that now includes, allied health professionals and specialist clinicians (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Care) from all over the region.
Being part of the BeatAnaphylaxis team, in the North East, has been an immense privilege. I am optimistic this group will not only enhance the quality of Anaphylaxis education and care for children and young people in the region, but also provide an accessible portal with up-to-date resources, for all involved health professionals and carers.
