Kaavya Venkatesh
I am 15 years old and currently in the midst of my GCSE’s. I have had allergies from birth and have always received excellent care, giving me plenty of experience of being a patient in the NHS. Having had experience of severe allergic reactions, I understand the impacts of allergies on day-to-day life and the dangers of anaphylaxis. As such, I enjoy being involved in projects such as this one, which help others learn how to manage and control their own allergies.
Outside of education, my interests include music (I play three instruments to a high level) and I am involved in my local orchestra, alongside having played in a National level orchestra previously. I also enjoy volunteering and reading medical books and journals.
