Meet the Editors Sarah Sullivan

Sarah Sullivan

I am a registered paediatric nurse from Essex. I began my career at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital before speci

alising in School Nursing where I worked for 5 years. As a School Nurse I worked in both London and Kent, before relocating to the North East in 2017 due to my husband’s career in the military.

I am currently working as the Paediatric Allergy Nurse at North Tees & Hartlepool Hospitals.

My interest in allergy began after my own little boy was diagnosed with allergies, and I realised how little awareness there is around allergies! I feel passionately that patients and their families deserve to be well educated about allergy, and that there needs to be a greater awareness of allergy recognition and management in the wider community.

I believe parents should feel confident that early years and educational settings have the necessary knowledge and skills to care for their child safely.

I am proud to be a part of Beat Anaphylaxis, and hope that my contribution can make a positive difference to those accessing the resource.
